School...

yet again, another semester!! I have been in college for 4 years now and it seems never ending!!! After this semester i will have one summer session and 2 more semesters. Hopefully it will fly by!! i hope! This semester should be really stressful! I am taking 17 hours! 2 of them are online classes, which i do not do so well in but they were only offered online! *sigh* I will make the best of it though. I'm afraid my working nights will get in the way of my studies so we will have to see how that plays out. Momma told me that she would help me out all that i needed if i had to quit my job but i'm going to keep it as long as possible and just save up the money i can. Anyway, it's really late. I need to get to sleep so i can wake up early and eat breakfast before i hit to road to Hammond for classes!!

A new year, a new beginning

I haven't written in over a month, geez i'm slacking. But in my defense i have been working over 40 hours every week and have been so tired. It was absolutely insane working retail during the Christmas Holidays but well worth it; I made so much money! Because I did so great in school this past semester and have been working my bootie off i decided to buy myself i little present!! I bought a 47" flat screen TV plus TiVo!!! A Vizio TV, to be exact! Ok, it's not so little but I thought I deserved it! It's the only really nice thing i've ever bought myself so i thought it was time. I had been saving money for a while and then after doing so well in school the timing was right!! I ended up making a 3.3 gpa this past semester, i was so proud of myself but next semester it's going to be higher than that!! :) Oh, and my Christmas was absolutely amazing!!! I love being with allll of my family, it's so much fun and definitely NO dull moments! It was great!

I have a feeling this year is going to be a GREAT one!!! I just know it! I am going to make the best out of every situation that comes to me. Another reason i know it's going to be a great year is that it's going to SNOW again on Thursday!! Oh how i love the snow!! This is going to be twice this winter! Man, what's going on with the weather!? Snow twice in one winter....in SOUTH LOUISIANA!!??? I'm not complaining though....i love it!!! I'm really quite anxious to see what new adventures and opportunities the new year brings me!

On another note, Cory, my friend that was in a coma is still in it. It has now been 2 months that he has been in a coma. Katie has woken up though, greattt news! Cory is doing a lot better though; opening his eyes, moving his arms and legs, all that needs to happen now is for him to wake up. He even responds when they ask him to move his arm or squeeze their hand. All we can do is stay positive and keep praying. God has it all in his hands!!
